The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
Position Summary In this exciting and dynamic role, the cardiovascular genetic counselor will work with a dedicated team of physicians and researchers. The successful candidate will play a key role in the continued development and implementation of the CUIMC/ NYP adult clinical cardiovascular genetic program and related research projects.
Genetic counseling will be provided to both inpatients and outpatients across an academic clinical cardiovascular setting that includes patients with familial cardiovascular diseases (arrhythmia, cardiomyopathy, dyslipidemia, aortic disease etc.). Dedicated to the division of cardiology, the position will also have a role in future gene therapy clinical trials and research within the cardiogenetics clinic.
