Our client, a Clinical Laboratory company, is looking for a Genetic Counselor for their New York, NY location.

Responsibilities:
- Providing remote based genetic counseling to patients across the United States.
- Counseling may include primarily hereditary cancer couseling both pretest and results discussion.
- While not necessary, a counselor with multi-state licensure is preferred.
- This counselor will be supported by a large team of genetic counselors and medical geneticists, will have the ability to identify and implement processes to improve the patient experience, and will have an opportunity to participate in educational and research initiatives.
Requirements:
- JD outlined on req. Candidate will need to be board certified through ABGC which is a requirement for this req.
- Candidate will need to hold bachelors and masters degree in genetic or genetic conseling
- Education Requirement: Masters’s Degree in genetics or genetic counseling
- Required Certifications: Board Certified through ABGC
