The Department of Radiation Oncology at UT Southwestern is looking for a radiation oncologist to join our genitourinary disease-oriented team.

Qualification ------------

Experience with brachytherapy prostate fiducial and peri-rectal Hydrogel spacer placement is encouraged.

Requirements ------------

  • M.D. or M.D.Ph.D. degree from an ACGME-approved medical school or equivalent
  • Completion of a radiation oncology residency program from an approved institution
  • Board certification or eligibility in Radiation Oncology
  • Eligibility for Texas medical licensure

Responsibilities ----------------

  • Interest in initiating new clinical trials and adaptive radiotherapy strategies
  • Collaborative research with other departments
  • Strong interpersonal skills and motivation for teaching trainees and students
