Pay: $17.00 per hour, Weekly Pay! Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Overtime may be required during the week) Assignment Type: Long Term Temp
Job Summary
Debbie's Staffing is currently seeking dependable and hardworking Helpers / Yard Associates for a growing building materials operation. This is a hands-on position that requires working outdoors and assisting with the movement, handling, and preparation of materials in a busy yard environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience operating equipment and working safely in an industrial, construction, lumber, or building materials setting.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials throughout the yard
Operate forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently
Utilize chainsaws and other tools as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Inspect materials and report any issues to management
Support daily yard operations and perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
Ability to work outdoors for extended periods
Regular lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform physical labor throughout the workday
Comfortable working around heavy equipment and machinery
COMBI forklift experience is a plus
Previous experience in a lumber yard, warehouse, construction, manufacturing, or building materials environment
Strong commitment to workplace safety
Dependable attendance and punctuality
