Skills and Responsibilities
· 4-Yeardegreeinrelatedfieldor3-10yearsofrelatedexperience
· Experienceintheinstallgroundwaterandsurfacewaterinstrumentationsystemsinandaround dams, levees and CCR sites for the collection of real time data collection/performance monitoring
o Instrumentationandmaintenancewillinclude–inclinometers,waterqualityequipment(pH, ORP, DO, turbidity, conductivity), portable solar battery charging stations and cellular and satellite communication systems
· Experienceinexecutingfieldinvestigationsutilizingvariousdrillingmethodsandresources
· Experiencewithsoilandrocklogging,monitoringwellconstruction,groundwatermonitoring,and field data reporting
· 4.Experienceinprovidingtechnicalandsafetyoversighttodrillingcontractorandconsultants
Special Notes
· Typical Worker/Geologist work week is 4, 10 hour days (Monday - Thursday) with some 10 day shifts.
· ExtensivetravelthroughoutthesoutheasternUnitedStatesmainlyGeorgia,AlabamaandMississippi.
