MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented GEOINT Systems Business Analyst to join our team in Springfield, VA. The GEOINT Systems Business Analyst will leverage their strong technical background and knowledge to support the GEOINT Training and Professional GEOINT Enterprise Directorate as well as GEOCOM Performance Management activities. This role involves applying process improvement methodologies to modernize mission activities and ensure the optimization of complex IT systems and software processes.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Developing concept of operations (CONOPs) and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support the GEOINT Training and Professional Development Division and Community Governance Office.
  • Applying process improvement and reengineering methodologies based on best practice principles to design and implement process modernization.
  • Assisting with the analysis, evaluation, and assessment of IT systems to provide recommendations for system optimization and operations sustainment.
  • Coordinating and managing quality assessments to ensure the proper implementation of programs, system specifications, and quality standards.
  • Establishing performance measures and monitoring metrics to identify and implement performance-based improvements across the enterprise.
  • Working with all stakeholders to ensure complete and functioning systems that meet all requirements.
  • Recommending and, when approved, implementing process and policy improvements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in any field with 11 years of progressively responsible experience, or 15 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Significant experience in distinct functional or cross-functional analysis/assessment methodologies and associated tools.
  • Experience supporting and directing the activities of staff on tasks related to specialized analysis or discipline.
  • Experience designing new processes, documenting improvements, and directing implementation activities.
  • Experience working directly with executive-level clients to drive a security or modernization agenda.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active certification in ITIL, Six Sigma, CMMI, or ISO.
  • Graduate degree or equivalent high-level professional experience.
  • Prior experience within the GEOINT discipline.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the National System for GEOINT (NSG).
  • Specialized knowledge of the customers key components, directorates, offices, and programs.
  • Self-starter with excellent people skills who is able to work across teams and drive change throughout an organization.

Clearance Requirements

  • An active TSSCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position.
  • Needs to constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a copier, scanner, and computer printer.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
  • Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
