    Status: Full-time (seasonal or contract depending on project phase)

    Key responsibilities

    • Plan and execute field programs including geologic mapping, sampling (rock/soil), trenching support, drill site support, and core/chip logging.
    • Log drill core and/or RC cuttings to company standards, including lithology, alteration, mineralization, structure, veining, geotechnical observations (where applicable), and sample interval selection.
    • Ensure quality, integrity, and chain-of-custody for all samples; coordinate shipments to laboratories and track turn-around times.
    • Implement and monitor QA/QC programs (standards, blanks, duplicates), validate assay results, and flag issues for resolution with laboratories and the project team.
    • Maintain accurate geological databases, including collar, survey, lithology, assays, density, and metadata; perform routine data checks and corrections.
    • Compile, interpret, and communicate results through maps, sections, logs, tables, and concise technical memos and presentations.
    • Assist with geologic modeling and interpretation in appropriate software (e.g., GIS and 3D modeling tools), including interpretation of structures, stratigraphy, alteration, and mineralized domains.
    • Support geophysical, geochemical, and remote sensing datasets compilation and interpretation as required.
    • Coordinate with drilling contractors and service providers to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient execution of drilling and support activities.
    • Contribute to work planning, daily reporting, cost awareness, and schedule tracking for assigned activities.
    • Support permitting and environmental coordination by documenting disturbance, reclamation status, and field observations as required.
    • Participate in continuous improvement of standard operating procedures, templates, and data workflows.

    Required Qualifications;

    • B.S. in Geology, Geological Engineering, or Mining related discipline
    • 4+ years of relevant experience in mineral exploration and/or mine geology (experience in epithermal gold systems and/or Carlin-type systems is an asset).
    • Demonstrated competence in drill logging, sampling, QA/QC, and geologic data management.
    • Working knowledge of GIS and geologic software (e.g., ArcGIS/QGIS; 3D modeling platforms

    such as Leapfrog, Vulcan, or similar).

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to produce clear logs, maps, and technical summaries.
    • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a 4×4 vehicle in field conditions, forklifts, and other small equipment.
    • Ability to work in remote field environments and varying weather; able to lift and handle core

    boxes and field gear (as required).

    Core Competencies;

    • Safety-first mindset; follows procedures and proactively identifies hazards and controls.
    • Strong field skills: observation, sampling discipline, and attention to detail.
    • Analytical thinking and practical problem-solving; integrates multiple datasets.
    • High data stewardship: organized, accurate, and consistent documentation.
    • Collaborative, respectful team member; capable of coordinating with contractors and cross functional groups.
