Job Title: Geotechnical Engineer
Job Description
As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for performing and reviewing engineering calculations including deep foundations, tile lengths, slope stability, and sediment calculations. You will prepare various geotechnical reports, work collaboratively with design teams, and ensure compliance with plans and specifications. Your role will involve coordinating and monitoring subsurface drilling investigations, reviewing boring logs, and developing comprehensive geotechnical reports.

Work Environment
The position is based in Carol Stream, with a team of 6 engineers and 2 geologists, working closely with the Carol Stream materials/soils lab. Most staff work in the office five days a week, with flexibility for occasional remote work. The role involves 75-80% office work and 15-20% fieldwork. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $61.00/hr.
