Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer with a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geotechnical engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively on multidisciplinary projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct geotechnical investigations and analyses to support the design and construction of various projects.
Prepare detailed geotechnical reports, including recommendations for foundation design, slope stability, and soil improvement.
Collaborate with project managers, civil engineers, and other stakeholders to develop innovative solutions for complex geotechnical challenges.
Oversee fieldwork, including soil sampling, testing, and site inspections.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support staff.
Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering.
Strong knowledge of geotechnical software and tools (e.g., L Pile, PLAXIS, GeoStudio, AutoCAD).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
