Vivo HealthStaff is recruiting for a Geriatric Nurse Practitioner in Coatesville, PA. This is a locum tenens position.
Job Details:
- Outpatient setting with 36 clinical hours + 4 administrative hours, including some on-call and rotating Saturday shifts.
- Provides medical care for all age groups, including disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of acute illnesses/injuries.
- Prescribes medications, administers vaccinations, and refers patients to specialists as needed.
- Sees approximately 20-25 patients per day and ensures accurate medical documentation for coding and compliance.
- Supervises clinical and reception support staff while maintaining high standards of patient care.
- Requires strong EMR skills (Athena preferred) and the ability to remain effective in high-pressure situations.
- Must complete CHC credentialing and privileging review upon hire and re-credentialing as needed.
