Now Hiring - Day & Night 12 hour Shifts
We are currently seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA I/GNAs) for our Long-Term Care departments with both day and night shift opportunities available.
Openings are available in:
Hall 1 - Sub-Acute Rehabilitation & Long-Term Care
Hall 2 - Long-Term Care
Burk 1 - Pulmonary Long-Term Care
Burk 2 - Ventilator Care Unit
Households - Person-Centered Long-Term Care
What You'll Do
As a CNA I,/GNA you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, helping residents maintain comfort, dignity, and independence. Responsibilities include:
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
Obtain and document vital signs and report changes in condition
Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning using Hoyer lifts and specialty equipment as needed
Support resident safety and infection prevention practices
Document accurately in the electronic medical record
Collaborate with nurses and the interdisciplinary care team
Provide compassionate, respectful care to residents and their families
Qualifications
Required:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Current Maryland CNA I Certification (formerly GNA under the Maryland Board of Nursing)
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Basic computer skills
Ability to follow verbal instructions and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Completion of annual nursing skills competencies
Preferred:
Less than one year of healthcare experience (newly certified CNA I candidates are encouraged to apply)
Familiarity with medical terminology, Hoyer lifts, specialty beds, communication devices, and electronic documentation systems such as HealthStream
