Qualifications:

Must have a current/valid Michigan Teaching Certificate appropriate to grade level

Major in German is required

Must meet Michigan Highly Qualified requirements

Certificate must be appropriate to the grade level

Must have the German (FB) endorsement

MTTC passing score required

Credential file including teaching certificate, letters of recommendation, successful completion of appropriate MTTC including Basic skills.

Knowledge of current instructional programs in foreign languages.

Willing and capable of teaching multiple levels of German

Computer/Technology knowledge such as Microsoft Office, Internet, E-Mail, Google Docs, creation of web pages, etc. required.

Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.

Salary

Salary to commensurate with experience.
