The GHB US PCT Lead and Global Engineering Technical Leader has a primarily US Scope leading the US PCT Team, but with a global technical support function for the GHB International sites, and is accountable for leading, overseeing and providing strategic direction to the US GH&B organization and providing technical support via a team of SME’s to the International GHB sites.
This leader will advance Global Engineering’s mission to be a strategic business partner by providing quality, value-added, innovative engineering solutions and programs for the US GHB organization through the One Engineering ways of working.
This leader will be providing Engineering leadership and technical expertise for effective and efficient delivery of equipment investigation and issue resolution for all Pfizer US GHB sites, US GHB capital plan and major capital projects, engineering programs for the US GHB network and for creating and implementing initiatives in partnership with the PGS Global Engineering organization.
Provide technical support and oversight for 6 GH&B US manufacturing sites via leading the matrixed GE US PCT team and direct SME reports, as well as providing technical support for the GH&B International sites via the GHB International PCT.
WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE
Establish and facilitate management of engineering metrics, KPIs and operational reviews across the US GH&B organization.
Be a champion for GE at all levels of the organization, supporting the GE lead programs through the One Engineering ways of working.
Drive Standardization & optimize technical solutions across the organization.
Support capital planning and work with GHB Tier 4 Opu leadership team on identifying strategic initiatives, projects and meeting network budget requirements.
Drive site master planning and own the process of regular maintenance aligned with the PGS One Engineering approach.
Review and approve large CPAs and establish governance models for large significant investments.
Lead and support US GH&B PCT Team consisting of equipment SMEs, utility and facility SME, and automation leads.
Oversee the implementation of GE programs at all US GHB sites including IFM, MRO, Reliability, EAMS, and Net Zero.
Drive innovation through pragmatic business solutions.
Prepare and control the team’s annual budget.
Be an active member of the US Tier 4 Opu Leadership Team.
Work with the GHB GELT to deliver Purpose Blueprint and multi -year goals.
Coach direct and indirect reports to harbor an inclusive environment that leads to stronger engineering solutions.
As a member of the extended member of the GELT, ensure consistency of program delivery across GHB and PGS.
HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED (Minimum Requirements)
Applicant must have a bachelor's degree in business, mathematics, engineering, automation, or other science-related field with at least 8 years of experience; OR a master's degree with at least 7 years of experience; OR a PhD with 5+ years of experience.
Experience in production, engineering or process automation (depending on degree).
Strong knowledge of FDA, OSHA and EPA regulations applicable to the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong managerial experience in Engineering, Maintenance and Utilities roles and operational experience across technologies.
Ability to engage with colleagues and develop effective relationships across businesses, functions and cultures and with stakeholders at all levels.
Decisive, courageous, transparent leader with integrity and strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to grow team and leaders.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE (Preferred Requirements)
Experience with PowerBI, SharePoint/Teams integrated digital tools and common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot and agentic AI, to support problem solving and enhance productivity.
Experience with Aveva Pi, DeltaV, Spotfire, EAMS, and Clockworks.
Experience with technical transfer of products/manufacturing process technologies across sterile injectable and solid oral dosage forms.
Experience with Pfizer budget processes, including managing project budgets.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Significant time on laptop & telecons (remote with global teams).
Site visits may require walking, lifting equipment and gowning into aseptic environments.
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
This is a global role with reports located across the world. Flexibility to work across global time zones, stretching from the US to Europe and Asia. Core working hours will be expected to align with US EST timezone.
Travel is anticipated to be ~(25)% throughout the year.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $176,600.00 to $294,300.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
