Do you enjoy history, ghost stories, or entertaining groups? Ghost City Tours is hiring Tour Guides to lead engaging, high-energy walking tours sharing local history, ghost stories, and legends. Job Overview As a Tour Guide / Ghost Tour Guide, you will: Lead guided walking tours through historic areas Deliver engaging storytelling performances to groups Entertain guests with history, true crime, and ghost stories Provide excellent customer service while managing groups Key Details Tours are ~90 minutes (up to 2 hours for specialty tours) Walking distance: ~1 mile per tour Must be comfortable walking, standing, and speaking for extended periods Tours run year-round (evenings, weekends, and holidays) Pay & Compensation Training Pay: $10 per hour for 8 2-hr training sessions After Training: $50 base pay per tour + 100% tips Typical total earnings: $50-$150+ per tour Top performers can earn significantly more with tips Weekly direct deposit (Fridays) Benefits & Perks Part-time schedule Performance-based incentives Advancement opportunities Fun, interactive work environment Ideal for actors, performers, teachers, and public speakers Minimum Requirements Strong public speaking or presentation skills Outgoing, confident, and comfortable with groups Reliable transportation Punctual and dependable Must live within 20 miles of the tour location Preferred Experience (Not Required) Tour guide experience Acting, theater, improv, or performance background Customer service or hospitality experience Teaching, history, or storytelling experience No Experience?
