Location: US:WI:MANITOWOC at our FROEDTERT HOLY FAMILY MEM HOSP facility. This job is ON-SITE.

FTE: 0.800000 Standard Hours: 32.00 Shift: Shift 1 Shift Details: varied schedule dependent on the needs of the clinic and procedure schedule - start/end times ranging from 0630-1700. There is a call requirement (only a few times per month), weekday only.

Holiday Rotation

Job Summary: Plans, organizes, coordinates, and provides direct nursing care for an identified group of patients according to specific standards.

Other Information:

Critical Care -- At least one year of experience in Med/Surg required. Prefer experience in ER, and/or CCU nursing. ACLS required within the first year of hire. Emergency Services -- At least one year of experience in Med/Surg required. Would consider new graduates with Paramedic experience only. ACLS required within the first year of hire. PALS and TNCC preferred. Womens and Childrens Center -- None required. Prefer one year of experience in Med/Surg, Pediatric, and/or OB nursing. NRP certification required within the first year of hire. Specialty Float -- At least one year of experience in Med/Surg required. ER &/or CCU experience preferred. Will float between CCU, ER, and PACU. ACLS required within the first year of hire.

General Float -- At least one year of experience in Med/Surg required. Will float between Med/Surg, Surgery Center, and Post Partum.

Medical/Surgical -- None required. One year of experience in Medical Surgical nursing preferred.

Prep & Holding/PACU -- Prefer at least two years of experience in CCU, Cardiac Rehab, ER, or in Surgical Services nursing. ACLS required within the first year of hire.

Surgery Center/Special Procedures -- Prefer two years of experience in Med/Surg and/or Ortho nursing. Ambulatory Per-Anesthesia nursing certificate and ACLS preferred.

Surgical Services: Operating Room -- None required. Prefer two to three years of experience in Surgical/Ortho and/or Operating Room nursing. Operating Room Nurse certificate preferred.

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required, and current unrestricted Wisconsin RN license required.

Excellent customer service, critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills required. CPR certification required.
