GIFTED AND TALENTED TEACHER - 0.5 FTE

MATHEMATICS EMPHASIS

Position: Seeking a 0.5 FTE Gifted and Talented Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year to work with students at the middle and elementary levels. This position will have a mathematics emphasis. Knowledge of effective classroom management, forward-thinking pedagogy, and instructional best practices is essential. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of developmentally appropriate teaching practices in the Gifted and Talented setting, including supporting the social development of students in GT programming. The ideal candidates will also possess working knowledge of the Wisconsin Standards for Mathematics. Understanding of the Math Practice Standards is a plus. Strong technology skills and a willingness to work in a collegial environment, as a collaborative team member, are a must. Experience with personalized learning, growth mindset, and trauma-informed practices is a plus.

Qualifications Necessary: Must be kind, caring, and have an understanding of child development. Candidates must hold or be able to obtain a Wisconsin teaching license. Preferred license types are: 1) 1088 - Elementary and Middle School (Grades K-9); 2) 1400 - Grades 4-12 Math.
