THE POSITION

Candidates must have a sincere interest and desire to put forth maximum effort into his/her coaching responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  1. New Jersey Instructional Certificate or Substitute Certification with Athletic Endorsement.

  2. Previous coaching experience in Cross Country/Track required. Head coaching experience preferred.

  3. Commitment to building a successful program around talented students/athletes.

  4. Will be directly responsible to the Director of Athletics and school administration for the satisfactory performance of all coaching responsibilities.

  5. Will assume full responsibility for supervision and conduct of team members and for conducting necessary practice sessions and training sessions.

Is expected to assume full-coaching responsibilities at all scheduled games.

  1. Will assume the responsibility of supervising and administering the program during practice sessions and issuing and handling of all necessary equipment.

  2. Exceptional knowledge and experience in this sport.

  3. Demonstrate high ethics, high expectations, strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  4. Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident/immigrant status.

Salary - As Per SOMEA Agreement
