Position: Girls Junior Varsity Volleyball Coach

Season Duration: Fall 2026 (approximately AugustNovember 2026)

Location: Region One School District

Compensation: $3,364.20 for the season (no additional benefits)

Overview:

Region One School District is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Girls Junior Varsity Volleyball Coach to lead our high school team for the 20262027 school year fall season. The ideal candidate will inspire, motivate, and guide student-athletes, fostering both skill development and sportsmanship in a positive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and conduct practices, games, and team activities
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance players' skills and team performance
• Promote teamwork, dedication, and good sportsmanship on and off the field
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all student-athletes

Qualifications:

• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Completed Concussion Training
• Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness Program Completion
• 5-Year Coaching Permit or Emergency Coaching Permit
• Fingerprinting and DCF Background Check
• High School Diploma

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to actively move around the court, demonstrating drills and coaching from the sidelines
• Endurance to remain on your feet for extended periods during practices and games
• Occasional lifting of equipment up to 30 pounds
• Clear communication and the ability to project voice across the court
