Head or Assistant coaching experience is recommended. The successful candidate will demonstrate experience and skill in organizing, managing and directing a Varsity program. The ability to successfully assign, supervise and evaluate assistants as well as to develop and manage a program budget is required. Must demonstrate the ability to communicate and work with community and local recreational programs. Requirements:Demonstrated knowledge of the particular activity and related experience as determined by the boardStrong interpersonal and communication skillsNJ DoE Substitute Certificate or NJ DoE Teaching certificateMust possess/obtain CPR/FIRST AID/AED, NFHS Concussion in Sports, and NFHS Heat Illness Prevention.Must obtain within the first year after hire NFHS Coaching Fundamentals and NFHS Sports First Aid Certifications.
