Description:

CTG is seeking a skilled GIS Project Manager to lead and coordinate enterprise GIS initiatives for our client. This role requires strong experience with Esri/ArcGIS technologies, Agile project delivery, and cross-functional stakeholder collaboration in complex technical environments. Utility industry and compliance-related experience, including FAC-003/FAC-008 initiatives, is highly preferred.

 

Location: Remote
Duration: 7 months

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead GIS project delivery from planning through execution and implementation.
  • Collaborate with GIS professionals, developers, architects, and business stakeholders to define project requirements and delivery strategies.
  • Manage Agile processes including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and project tracking.
  • Coordinate cross-functional technical teams to support GIS application and enterprise solution delivery.
  • Support process improvement, workflow optimization, and compliance-focused initiatives.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, timelines, and dependencies.
  • Provide status reporting and maintain strong stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Esri GIS and ArcGIS technologies is required.
  • Experience leading projects using Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Ability to translate business and technical requirements into actionable project plans.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Experience working within enterprise GIS and application environments.
  • Utility operations and regulatory compliance experience preferred, including FAC-003/FAC-008 initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • PMP, Scrum, Agile, or GIS certifications are a plus.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $55.00 to $75.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
