EnergyUnited is seeking a highly motivated GIS Technician / Analyst to join our Grid Modernization team. In this role, you will help maintain and enhance the Cooperative's Geographic Information System (GIS), ensuring the accuracy and integrity of mapping data that supports engineering, operations, planning, and business initiatives.
This position is ideal for an experienced GIS professional who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, improving data quality, supporting enterprise GIS applications, and collaborating across departments to advance utility operations.

Working Conditions
This position typically works Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some irregular hours may be required. Employees must be available during emergency response and adverse weather conditions.
This position follows a hybrid work arrangement, allowing a combination of on-site and remote work as approved by the Cooperative. To facilitate onboarding and training, the selected candidate will be required to report to the assigned job site full-time for up to the first year of employment before becoming eligible for the hybrid work arrangement.
Residency Requirement
This position is classified as a Non-Direct Operational Position. Employees must establish and maintain a residence within one of the nineteen counties served by EnergyUnited or within a 40-mile driving radius of any EnergyUnited office within one year of employment.
