GPI seeks a motivated GIS Technician to support transportation and infrastructure projects through spatial data management, analysis, and mapping. The ideal candidate will bring 35 years of experience and join a collaborative team in our Bridgewater, NJ office. Salary is competitive and ranges from $58,000 to $65,000 annually, depending on experience; negotiable for the right candidate. For more information, visit: www.gpinet.com Responsibilities: GIS Data Management & Spatial Analysis Collect, process, and maintain spatial data from various sources with a focus on accuracy and quality.Perform geospatial analysis and geoprocessing to meet project goals.Develop, update, and maintain geospatial databases and metadata in compliance with established standards.Produce clear, detailed maps and visualizations for both internal teams and external stakeholders. Database Management Maintain and update relational databases; integrate GIS data effectively.Query and analyze large datasets to identify trends and inform decision-making. Collaboration & Documentation Estimate time and level of effort for assigned tasks.Coordinate with project managers to deliver GIS-related support.Document procedures, workflows, and standards for consistency and clarity.QualificationsBachelors degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or related field.3+ years of professional GIS experience.2+ years of data management experience.Proficient in: ESRI ArcGIS ProSQL (Microsoft SQL Server)Microsoft Office 365 Familiarity with Python for automating GIS workflows (a plus).Experience with ESRI Roads and Highways (a plus).GISP is preferred, and ESRI ArcGIS is a plus
