GIS Technician I

*Full time, hybrid, 3 days/week in office at 525 South Tryon Street in Charlotte, NC*

*Experience working with GPS data preferred*

This position will be responsible for completing tasks including manipulating GIS data from various sources in GIS, performing QA/QC for a data improvement project in Smallworld, and preparing project data and information for GIS contributors. Minimum 2 years GIS experience preferred. Strong background and demonstrated experience in GIS preferred. Experience in Smallworld and/or ESRI preferred. Utility experience preferred. Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SharePoint preferred. GIS or related technical degree preferred.
