Valor is looking for a Giving Team Manager to lead our campus giving coordinators and help every Valor community become a place where generosity is joyful, contagious, and part of everyday life. You'll be the coach on the sidelines, the driving force behind our campaigns, and the person who celebrates every win, big or small. Success in the role is consistently growing our annual giving across the team both through direct and indirect efforts. You don't need a fundraising background to thrive here. If you've led a team in sales, customer success, or relationship management and you know how to turn goals into results, we want to talk to you. This is a full time, year round role, at least 80% in person. You'll get to rotate across all five Valor campuses in the Austin and San Antonio area, spending time with each giving coordinator where the action happens. Expect some evenings and weekends during big events and campaign pushes (that's where the fun is anyway!). What You'll Do: Leading the Team Develop campus giving coordinators, building both individuals and the team Focus efforts around individual and campus goals; hold weekly 1:1s and monthly progress reviews Coach giving coordinators remotely and in the field - join donor calls and meetings, debrief, give feedback on donors asks and invitations Track activity and results in the CRM and use the data to drive accountability Foster the team rhythm (meetings, training, celebrations) across all five campuses Recruit and onboard (as needed) Driving Results Manage the annual Invest in the Vision Campaign ("IVC") by stewarding and soliciting gifts from current families Assist in the execution of capital campaigns on each campus, as needed Review campus portfolios of major donors and prospects, ensuring giving coordinator's regular, personalized engagement and stewardship to strengthen relationships and encourage first-time or continued support Implement strategy and timelines for key giving events such as Giving Tuesday, Amplify Austin, etc. Coordinate across campus and network staff to ensure smooth and mission-aligned execution Building a Culture of Giving Refine and promote established fundraising strategies, scripts, timelines, and messaging provided by the Valor network Build authentic relationships with families, grandparents, and donors in the school community, deepening their understanding of the Valor mission and securing larger donations Serve as a visible and friendly presence on campus, helping support a culture of giving, celebration, and connection What You'll Bring: Required Experience & Skills Formal management and team leadership experience (3+ years directly managing at least 5 people) leveraging metrics to drive accountability Formal fundraising experience is preferred, but not required - seeking candidates with transferable skills managing teams in sales, customer success, relationship management, etc. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Outlook, Teams, and Excel); comfortable learning CRM platforms like DonorPerfect Basic familiarity with Canva or Powerpoint Valor considers the unique combination of each candidate's education and relevant experience when evaluating the qualifications for the role You're the Right Fit If You Are… Mission-driven and passionate about promoting Valor's values and vision of education More satisfied with team wins than your own Driven by giving direct feedback in the moment Organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail Proactive and willing to take initiative Flexible and able to navigate changing needs, multiple important and urgent priorities, and busy event seasons Positive and approach challenges with an abundance mindset Collaborative and eager to lead a joyful, dynamic team Mission and Vision Valor's mission is to educate the whole person in authentic communities for a full human life.
