    Description

    160over90 is a global, culturally-led creative agency with expertise across advertising, branding, experiential, partnerships, PR and communications, and serves leading brands including AB InBev, Audi, Marriott, and Visa.

    We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented GL Accountant to join our organization. This position will be based in our Philadelphia office but will work closely with the finance and accounting team members in all 160over90 locations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and quantitative skills and be able to work independently and proactively as well as in a team environment. The candidate must be able to communicate with individuals of all levels and backgrounds and succeed in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

    • Perform month-end close duties and reporting including recording of accurate journal entries
    • Conduct monthly balance sheet account reviews and reconciliations to ensure ledger maintenance
    • Analyze financial reports and records for discrepancies
    • Assist with management of cash flow forecasting including daily oversight of bank activity and preparation of bank reconciliations 
    • Coordinate Inter- and Intracompany reconciliations and reporting
    • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
    • Assist with various ad-hoc reporting and projects as needed 

    Knowledge and Experience

    • BS Degree in Accounting or Finance
    • 3+ years general accounting experience
    • Proficient in Excel
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles

    Skills and Abilities

    • Highly detail-oriented and organized
    • Ability to successfully handle multiple deadlines and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Experience utilizing SAP accounting software a plus
