Job Title: General Ledger Accountant
Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Location: San Juan Capistrano, CA (Onsite with potential hybrid flexibility after 90 days)
Salary Range: $100,000 - $115,000

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented General Ledger Accountant to support key accounting functions within a fast-paced, multi-entity environment. This role will play a critical part in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting operational teams, and ensuring timely reporting across assigned business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze expenses for accuracy and completeness

  • Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with accounting standards

  • Produce detailed monthly and quarterly profit & loss (P&L) reports

  • Partner with operational leaders to ensure financial deliverables are met on time

  • Monitor and maintain compliance with internal controls, including SOX-related processes

  • Execute month-end close procedures and reconciliations

  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support financial performance and operational success

  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and professional development

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)

  • 2+ years of accounting or public accounting experience (required)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • High attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize effectively

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
