Glass Glazer/Installer
Pay: $20.00/hour
Location: Lafayette, LA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm
Our client is seeking an experienced Glass Glazer/Installer to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for stable, full-time work with a reputable company.
Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and install glass in residential and/or commercial settings
- Read and interpret work orders and project specifications
- Handle and transport glass safely and efficiently
- Perform glazing work including storefront, windows, mirrors, and specialty glass
- Ensure all installations meeting quality and safety standards
- Maintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors
Requirements:- Minimum 5 years of experience in glass glazing and/or installation (required)
- Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and measurements accurately
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (glass panels, frames, etc.)
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to work safely at heights and in varying weather conditions
- Must pass preemployment drug screen
