If this sounds like the right glazing opportunity for you, apply today!A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A GLAZIERAs a Glazier, you will be responsible for installing commercial glass using putty, rubber gaskets or metal clips. You will set glass and doors using a variety of hand tools such as screw guns. Depending on the height of the building glass will be installed by hand or with scaffolding or out of boom lifts when over 6 feet.Working from blueprints and design layouts, you will ensure accurate completion of glazing jobs in a wide variety of commercial settings and all weather conditions. Attention to detail and accuracy are key to success. Your ideas matter and will be key to continuous improvement for Minneapolis Glass. GLAZIER QUALIFICATIONS: High School degree / GED required3 years glazing experience required and as a union journey-level.Must be able to lift 75 lbs. unassisted and up to 150 lbs. assisted.Ability to stand for 8 hours a day with frequent lifting, carrying, kneeling, bending and stretching.Ability to accurately use a tape measure and read blueprints.Confidence in working on scaffolding, boom lifts and other cranes.Valid driver's licenseDo you excel in a team environment?
