Job Title: Global Compensation and Benefits Lead

About the Role
A newly formed international joint venture headquartered in the UK is seeking a Global Compensation & Benefits Lead to oversee compensation and benefits strategy across the region while contributing to the organisation's broader global reward agenda.
This is a high-profile leadership role within a complex, fast-paced carve-out and stand-up environment. The successful candidate will lead reward activities across the Americas while acting as a key global subject matter expert on benefits strategy, governance, and programme design. Deep expertise in US benefits is essential, alongside the ability to operate within a global business environment and partner with international stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead compensation and benefits strategy and delivery across the Americas region
- Provide global leadership and expertise in benefits governance and programme design
- Act as a trusted advisor to HR and business leadership on reward strategy and transformation initiatives
- Support the establishment and integration of reward frameworks within a newly formed joint venture environment
- Ensure programmes remain competitive, compliant, and aligned to global business objectives
- Drive harmonisation, governance, and continuous improvement across reward practices
- Partner with external vendors and internal stakeholders across multiple geographies
Candidate Requirements
- Significant senior-level experience within Total Rewards, Compensation, and Benefits
- Deep expertise in US benefits combined with exposure to global reward structures and governance
- Proven experience operating within multinational or matrixed organisations
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across regional and global leadership teams
- Experience supporting transformation, carve-out, or organisational change programmes
- Excellent analytical, communication, and strategic planning capabilities
- Ability to work from either Chicago or Houston with a strong in-office presence
