Job Description
The Marketing Director of Strategic Initiatives and Operations is primarily responsible for ensuring cross functional integration for the consumer product marketing portfolio. Deep partnership and coordination will be with the affluent product and benefits team, cross border business units, and ecommerce product group. The role will help establish a unified B2B2C marketing engine, enabling consistent premium offerings, with coordinated travel corridor and consumer journey strategies that drive outsized growth for the company.
This Marketing Leader and her/his team will work with executives, key global business stakeholders and regional brand teams to successfully bring to life – and evolve over time – the consumer product propositions for Visa.
The position reports to the Vice President, Global Brand Marketing – Consumer Products and will be based in Visa’s San Francisco, California office.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications • 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD Preferred Qualifications • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD • 10+ years of progressive experience in global brand strategy, brand marketing, or related field - financial services or technology experience strongly preferred. • Strong executive presence with highly effective written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present with impact. • Strong planning, organizational and problem-solving skills. • Resourcefulness with strong sense of accountability and results-oriented drive. • Role models and influences aspirational behaviors of leading courageously, obsessing about customers, collaborating as one Visa, and executing with excellence. • Ability to initiate and drive opportunities independently across multiple complex projects that have strategic implications for the brand and company, while operating in an environment that changes quickly.

The estimated salary range for this position is $178,300.00 to $ 285,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.Work Hours

This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
