Job Title: Global Brand Manager, Makeup

Will work hybrid schedule - 3 days onsite and 2 days remotely.
Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Maternity Cover (with potential extension)


Overview:
  • Focus on Global Marketing within Makeup (Color Cosmetics)
  • Core areas: Product Development, Innovation, Marketing Communication, etc.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (R&D, Packaging, etc.)
  • Role requires a high level of independence with minimal supervision
  • US-focused role (at present), chance of extension to Europe in future

Requirements:
  • 4 5 years of experience in makeup / color cosmetics ONLY;No haircare, skincare, or other Client backgrounds
  • Hands-on experience with Shades, lipsticks, and color cosmetics
  • Understanding of color formulation and trends
  • Experience managing global marketing budgets
  • Strong problem-solving ability and business acumen
  • Must be self-driven and proactive
  • Strong ownership mindset
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving projects independently

Education:
  • Education is not a constraint for rockstar candidates with strong relevant experience.

Description:
The Brand Manager for Global Makeup is responsible for identifying and executing innovation, claims and communications required to drive global growth on the Makeup platform. This role will be highly collaborative as you will partner with cross-functional teams and global partners to shape, test and execute opportunities. You will play a critical role in shaping the brand s innovation, comms and claims strategies to drive its success globally.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Support the Marketing Director in shaping Client s Global Makeup strategy
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and non-innovation-led growth, leveraging data and outside-in thinking to develop strategic recommendations
  • Collaborate with global partners, HCPs, MUPA, CBI, Creative agencies and influencers to craft, & test innovations
  • Drive relationship with key manufacturers to develop breakthrough innovations and always remain ahead of makeup trends
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure launch timing accuracy of all new product innovations
  • Support the shaping and lead the execution of Client s Makeup communication campaigns, partnering with multifunctional teams and leading creative and influencer agencies to deliver campaigns that drive mental availability for the brand and platform
  • Lead the briefing and ongoing development of innovation and non-innovation
  • Packaging/ artwork
  • Ecom product page
  • Media assets
  • Social assets etc
  • Partner with R&D and Legal/ Regulatory affairs to create compelling claims list per new product innovation, continuously elevating and advancing brand superiority
  • Support local market to develop compelling stories for NPIs, ensuring optimal sell-in volume
  • Collaborate with global partners to ensure global fit of all innovations and communication strategies
  • Manage Global budget for Makeup

Required Qualifications:
  • A minimum of a BA/BS degree is required;a master s in business or marketing specialization preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years of marketing, sales or related experience is required

Desired Qualifications:
  • Makeup industry experience required
  • Experience leading cross-functionals to develop consumer-centric product innovation
  • Experience leading cross-functionals and agencies to develop a communications strategy for multiple brands or priorities
  • You should possess excellent creative instincts and strong leadership skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with an ability to bring out the best in others.
  • Strategy and data are the core of everything we do, so strong critical thinking and analytical skills are required.
  • Digital marketing experience is critical.
  • Budget management and forecasting experience.
