    Description

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    The Global Cash Management and ERM Leader is responsible for Owens Corning's global cash management operations, banking infrastructure, liquidity strategy, treasury systems, and cash controls. The role leads global cash visibility, bank account governance, daily cash positioning, liquidity forecasting, and continuous improvement of treasury processes and technology. The role also leads Owens Corning's enterprise risk management (ERM) program,, partnering with business leaders to identify, assess, monitor and mitigate key enterprise risks.

    Reports to: Assistant Treasurer

    Span of Control: 4 individual contributors in the United States, 1 individual contributor in Mexico

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    Global Liquidity Management

    • Oversee daily global cash positioning and liquidity reporting
    • Lead liquidity forecasting processes and drive continuous improvement in forecast accuracy
    • Optimize global cash concentration and pooling structures
    • Support funding and liquidity strategies in partnership with Treasury leadership
    • Monitor cash balances and working capital trends across regions, developing recommendations to optimize liquidity and working capital performance

    Banking Relationship Management

    • Manage relationships with global banking partners
    • Lead strategic bank relationship reviews and support overall bank relationship strategy in partnership with Treasury leadership
    • Oversee bank account opening, closing, maintenance, and signatory governance
    • Review banking services, fees, and account rationalization opportunities
    • Lead implementation of new banking products and services to improve efficiency, controls, and global capabilities

    Cash Operations

    • Direct daily cash management activities for global treasury operations
    • Ensure timely cash settlements and bank reconciliations
    • Monitor overdrafts, cash concentration structures, and intercompany funding activities

    Treasury Systems & Technology

    • Own treasury workstation capabilities, reporting, and system enhancements
    • Develop and execute the treasury technology roadmap, including treasury management systems, bank connectivity, automation, and reporting capabilities
    • Support global cash visibility initiatives and dashboard development
    • Ensure integrity of bank connectivity and treasury data flows
    • Lead continuous improvement initiatives leveraging technology, data analytics, and process automation
    • Support ERP system deployments and enhancements

    Controls, Compliance & Governance

    • Serve as the global cash management compliance lead, ensuring adherence to Treasury policies, SOX controls, and Levels of Authority (LOA) requirements
    • Coach stakeholders on treasury policy updates, business impacts, and LOA requirements as needed
    • Establish a clear tone at the top regarding business conduct, ethics, and financial controls
    • Develop a risk-based approach to recommend standardization, simplification, and automation of strategic treasury processes while ensuring compliance with OC standards and internal controls

    Enterprise Risk Management ("ERM")

    • Lead the ERM process and Risk Committee, partnering with the Risk Committee Chair and core team to identify, assess, and monitor key enterprise risks
    • Facilitate enterprise-wide risk assessments, maintain the risk register, and oversee mitigation plan tracking
    • Leverage technology (e.g., AuditBoard) to streamline risk governance, data collection, and reporting capabilities
    • Partner with business leaders to evaluate emerging risks and support the development of effective mitigation strategies
    • Prepare ERM updates and materials for senior leadership and the Audit Committee

    Lead and Develop Talent

    • Create an environment where talent is developed through effective performance management and talent evaluation
    • Capture the value of continuous learning and ongoing devepment opportunities
    • Invest in the growth and development of direct reports and other identified talent in their organization
    • Actively engage in personal development
    • Manage team workload to ensure performance and deliverables are aligned with strategic initiatives and priorities

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, or related field
    • 7+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience
    • Minimum of 4 years in a Treasury, FP&A, or technical accounting role
    • Experience using SAP or a similar ERP architecture

    PREFFERED EXPERIENCE:

    • Prior Treasury experience at a Fortune 500 company
    • Prior people leadership experience
    • Experience with SAP, Power BI (Business Intelligence), and treasury management systems
    • Demonstrated rate of growth and success in prior roles
    • Success in a fast-paced and dynamic, team-oriented environment
    • Change leadership experience and/or complex project leadership experience
    • Demonstrated ability to function in a highly matrixed structure across functional, business, geographic and cultural boundaries
