ResponsibilitiesLead the development and execution of global category strategies based on market intelligence business needs and supplier capabilitiesConduct detailed spend analysis supply market assessments and risk evaluations to provide best source of supply based on holistic review of supply optionsResponsibility for supplier selection using robust evaluation and selection process to provide best total cost of supply to our facilities and enabling optimal service to our end customersLead complex negotiations to secure optimal commercial terms service levels and innovation opportunitiesAccountable for supplier performance against various performance measures including quality total cost delivery and responsivenessProviding escalation route for non-strategic suppliers through the wider procurement teamsPartner with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure alignment of sourcing strategies to support our customersFacilitate cross-functional sourcing teams and lead strategic sourcing events from RFI through to implementationOversee contract development execution and lifecycle managementEnsure compliance with internal policies legal requirements and ethical sourcing standards.Track and report monthly on category performance metrics including cost savings supplier performance and risk mitigationQualifications & ExperienceBachelors degree in business supply chain engineering or related field MBA or equivalent preferred.At least 10 years of strategic sourcing or procurement experience preferably in a global environment.Proven success in category management supplier negotiations and cross-functional leadership.Strong analytical financial modeling and project management skills.Excellent communication influencing and stakeholder engagement capabilities.Experience with sourcing tools and ERP systems e.g. SAP Ariba Coupa.Please noteThis position requires the use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulation ITARVisa sponsorship is not available for this positionLI-AM1Equal OpportunityAffirmative Action EmployerMinoritiesFemalesDisabilityGender IdentitySexual OrientationExcelitas is seeking leaders and innovators to join our global team Visit httpsjobs.excelitas.com
