Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Business Development Manager (Data Center & Cloud Security) for a rapidly growing, global technology services organization specializing in advanced security and infrastructure solutions for enterprise environments. This isa fully remote, U.S.-based opportunity with up to 20% annual travel, which may include some potential international travel.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Business Development Manager will lead strategic growth initiatives focused on data center and cloud security solutions within enterprise environments. This role is responsible for developing new business, building high-value client relationships, and driving revenue through complex, consultative sales cycles. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in enterprise sales and a strong understanding of security solutions within data center and cloud ecosystems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within data center and cloud security markets across North America and global accounts
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline by engaging enterprise decision-makers and developing strategic account plans
  • Lead proposal development, including business case creation and solution positioning to differentiate offerings
  • Present solutions, manage negotiations, and close complex enterprise deals
  • Establish and maintain relationships with partners, clients, and key stakeholders to drive long-term growth
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies, improve market positioning, and support overall business objectives


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in business development or enterprise sales, with a focus on data center, cloud and / or security solutions
  • Proven track record of selling into enterprise environments and closing complex deals
  • Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, cloud environments, and security systems (e.g., electronic security, systems integration)
  • Demonstrated success in pipeline development, market expansion, and strategic sales execution
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to develop business cases
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
