Title: Global Design System UX Designer
Locations Bridgewater NJ and Manhattan NY (Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months
Salary Range: $35- $41/Hour on W2 (All inclusive)
Introduction
As a member of the Global Customer Experience Design team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and evolving the enterprise design system. You will deliver scalable, user-centered design solutions that support enterprise servicing priorities while advancing the consistency, accessibility, and quality of digital experiences across platforms.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Clear communication of experience; fluent in work and articulation of using tokenization within design and design systems
- 2 years of experience designing in Figma for web and mobile applications
- Experience developing or maintaining design systems
- Strong Figma skills to create robust design system components
- Understanding of design system structures and library organization
- Understanding of design tokens and their application in design systems
- Strong understanding of responsive design and working with grid systems
- Experience designing with scalability and accessibility in mind, ensuring components meet WCAG standards
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with CSS, JavaScript, and HTML
- Experience in agile environments
- Knowledge of user research methodologies
- Experience in fast-paced iterative processes
- Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Build, document, and maintain reusable design components
- Ensure design consistency across new and existing components
- Collaborate closely with product owners, UX leads, and other designers
- Participate in all phases of the design process from research and ideation to prototyping, testing, and QA
