Global Fund Tax Manager - Boston (Hybrid!) 

A leading lobal investment firm is seeking a Global Fund Tax Manager to join their growing team! This role sits on a high-impact Global Fund Tax team responsible for tax compliance and advisory across a range of investment vehicles, including mutual funds, REITs, and private funds.

Compensation: $140,000-160,000 + bonus 

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on complex North American fund tax matters, including private funds and alternative investments
  • Support tax compliance processes and governance frameworks
  • Partner with internal teams (Portfolio Management, Legal, Product) on tax strategy and planning
  • Identify and mitigate tax risks across complex fund structures
  • Lead projects focused on process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency
  • Manage external service providers and drive strategic tax initiatives

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of tax experience, within investment funds
  • Open to public accounting and/or private industry candidates! 
  • Advanced degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA required 
  • Strong knowledge of complex fund structures and alternative investments required 
  • Experience with data/automation tools (Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
