The Global Logistics Coordinator plays a vital role in advancing the ministry’s God-given vision to reach one billion souls for Jesus. This position is responsible for organizing and executing Global Harvest events and projects—both locally and globally—while ensuring that all logistical, administrative, and spiritual components are thoughtfully integrated and carried out with excellence. Working under the direction of the Global Logistics Manager, the Coordinator provides essential support to Global Harvest and collaborates closely with church staff, volunteers, ministry leaders, and external partners. This role requires a heart for service and evangelism, a strong sense of spiritual leadership, and a commitment to ensuring that all Global Harvest activities reflect the ministry’s core values and comply with both ministerial and governmental standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide research, analysis, and reports in support of Global Harvest events and initiatives, presenting findings and recommendations to the Global Harvest Director and Global Logistics Manager. Remain up to date with national and international cultural, social, and geopolitical developments relevant to ministry travel and operations. Plan, lead, and oversee all logistics for national and international Global Harvest events. Assist the Global Logistics Manager with strategic planning, scheduling, and the administration of any assigned Global Harvest event. Develop and manage budgets for assigned Global Harvest events, ensuring all expenses align with departmental goals. Ensure compliance with local laws, ministerial guidelines, and organizational regulations for all events, and process all required internal and external documentation. Negotiate contracts with vendors (hotels, transportation, venues, travel agents, etc.) for the best rates and service quality. Assemble and book comprehensive event packages, including travel and hotel accommodations, ground transportation, and venue access. Represent KJM with vendors, ministry partners, and government entities as needed, maintaining professionalism and integrity in all communications. Work cross-functionally with internal departments to direct communication and logistics and streamline the processes of each event. Manage on-the-ground execution—transportation, meals, lodging, event setups, and team movements.
Gather and organize post-event reports from all team leaders; compile master reports for departmental and leadership review. Position requires flexible work hours—including evenings and weekends—and extended domestic and international travel. Professional Qualifications Proven experience in logistics, event management, or mission coordination (church or organizational level). Ability to thrive under pressure, multitask across multiple projects, and execute to completion. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Strong organizational and administrative skills. A self-starter mentality and keen attention to detail. High emotional intelligence and cross-cultural sensitivity. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Monday.com OS. Bilingual English / Spanish required. Education and/or Experience Requirements A bachelor’s degree in business administration, hospitality management, or a related field is preferred. Project Management Certification (PMP) or event/logistics certification is a plus. Candidates with 5+ years of proven, high-level experience in logistics management, international event management, or mission operations may substitute for the preferred degree.
