As a Global Procurement & Supply Chain Intern, you have the opportunity to assist with multiple levels of procurement to support our Global Procurement and Supply Chain (GPSC) teams within the corporation.

Opportunities are available across several teams, and interns may be matched to assignments based on their skills, interests, academic background, and business needs. Depending on your assignment, you may gain experience in areas such as purchasing, subcontracts or supplier quality.

• This position has a Spring/Summer 2027 start date.

YOUR IMPACT

As a Supply Chain Intern, your responsibilities may include:

Purchasing:

• Support commodity managers with supplier selection, pricing negotiations, and performance management including quarterly scorecards.
• Visit suppliers to understand their manufacturing processes, capabilities, capacity, and constraints.
• Work with tactical buyers on component flow into manufacturing plants, including SAP systems and Bill of Material updates.
• Manage supplier forecasts and communications regarding forecast changes, deadlines, and production updates.
• Administer RFQs and compare supplier quotations for pricing, lead times, and commercial terms.

Subcontracts:

• Visit suppliers to assess technical capabilities, capacity, quality systems, and certifications.
• Support supplier selection, pricing negotiations, and performance management including quarterly scorecards.
• Collaborate with engineering and program management to understand service requirements and project integration.
• Administer RFQs and compare supplier quotations for pricing, labor rates, and lead times.
• Issue purchase orders and review supplier invoices against contracted rates and deliverables.

Supplier Quality:

• Provide onsite quality assurance support at high-impact supplier sites for the NGDV program.
• Participate in APQP, PPAP, and capacity verification activities in collaboration with lead SQE engineers.
• Support problem-solving efforts including containment actions and 8D resolution of supplier quality issues.
• Shadow SQE engineers during supplier visits to validate corrective actions and assess capabilities.
• May support functional validation trials of supplier parts at assembly plants.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Student working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Economics, Logistics, or related field.
• Graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• Willing to travel or relocate to Oshkosh, WI for the Summer of 2027 (relocation assistance provided for those with a permanent address of greater than 50 miles from Oshkosh, WI).

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

• GPA of 3.0 or greater.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while working independently and efficiently.
• Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay Range:

$18.00 - $37.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
