We are seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic Supplier Development Associate with a strong background in sourcing manufacturers both domestically and globally. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in sourcing, evaluating, and developing new suppliers to enhance our manufacturing operations. This role requires a combination of operations know-how, strategic thinking, negotiating skills, and a deep understanding of regional manufacturing practices.


_Responsibilities:_


+ Identify and qualify potential suppliers globally based on quality, cost, and delivery requirements.

+ Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices.

+ Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms.

+ Develop and implement supplier development initiatives to drive performance improvements.

+ Lead Global Product Launch Process working with internal and external stakeholders

+ Collaborate with internal teams (Engineering, Procurement, Quality) to address supply chain challenges to align on requirements.

+ Monitor supplier performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports for senior management.

+ Stay updated on market trends and emerging technologies to provide strategic sourcing recommendations.


_Requirements:_


+ High school diploma or GED required

+ Bachelor’s Degree or higher

+ 2+ Years experience in a Manufacturing Environment

+ Proven Results finding new suppliers and building a relationship

+ Technical understanding of engineering drawings

+ Ability to obtain and analyze landed costs

+ Ability to find and develop new/existing suppliers

+ Must be able to travel 10% - 25% both domestically and internally


_The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 based on experience, education, and geographical location._
