Global Supply Manager

Job Purpose

The Global Supply Manager leads sourcing strategy and supplier management for high-value, technically complex categories critical to VulcanForms’ production. This role requires strategic depth, commercial acumen, and the ability to operate independently across engineering, operations, and leadership teams.

Key Accountabilities

• Develop multi-year sourcing and cost roadmaps aligned with company growth plans.
• Negotiate complex commercial agreements, including pricing, capacity, and long-term supply terms.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for executive-level supplier relationships.
• Mentor and support junior GSMs in project execution and negotiation strategy.
• Lead cross-functional efforts to improve quality, cost, and delivery performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or technical degree preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in sourcing or supply chain management.
• Demonstrated success managing strategic suppliers in a global manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with supplier development, qualification, and risk assessments.
• Understanding of cost structures for machined, cast, or fabricated components.
• Track record of delivering measurable cost savings and lead-time reduction.
• Prior exposure to startup or high-growth manufacturing environments.

The annual base salary range for this position is $113,000-$156,000.
