PGS Worldwide is seeking a Global Trade Compliance Specialist for a fully remote 6-month contract role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This position is part of the Global Trade (GT) team and focuses on preparing, submitting, and administering required export and import authorizations in accordance with U.S. Government regulations. The role also supports compliance review activities, file management, and documentation of non-compliance matters, disclosures, and related investigations.

Experience Required

  • Knowledge of Department of State International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Department of Commerce Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
  • Experience managing legal tasks, files, deadlines, and records
  • Experience creating and maintaining tracking tools
  • Project management experience related to legal matters, audits, assessments, or investigations

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with OCR’s EASE global trade management software
  • Experience drafting ITAR and EAR licenses

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare, submit, and administer export and import authorization requests
  • Support the Global Trade team in reviewing documentation for compliance with U.S. export and import regulations
  • Assist with file management for investigations, including tracking non-compliance matters, disclosures, and compliance requests
  • Maintain accurate records and tracking tools for trade compliance activities
  • Support additional duties as assigned by the GT Director

Education Required

  • Bachelor’s degree, or a suitable combination of work experience and college credits
