Skills Desired:
- Hands-on experience with Globalscape EFT (Enhanced File Transfer) server, configuration, and maintenance
- Strong knowledge of secure file transfer protocols: SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS
- Experience in setting up and managing file transfer workflows, triggers, and event rules
- Basic understanding of middleware technologies like JBOSS, or IBM MQ
- Experience in troubleshooting file transfer issues, user access, and permissions
- Familiarity with automation using PowerShell or scripting languages for file operations
- Exposure to compliance standards (PCI, HIPAA, GDPR) related to file transfer
- Experience with integration of Globalscape with enterprise applications
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline basics
- Knowledge of other MFT tools like IBM Sterling, Axway, or GoAnywhere
Roles and Responsibilities:- Administer and maintain Globalscape EFT servers, ensuring secure and reliable file transfers
- Collaborate with middleware and application teams to support integrations via file exchange.
- Manage users, roles, permissions, certificates, and automation rules.
- Monitor system health, address incidents, and document configurations and procedures.
