GLOVIS: Senior Analyst, MQ Operations Planning Temp

This position is to analyze operations data and support developing & implementing KPI matrix for overall operations. Support Planning Manager for creating & managing operations plans.

• Support KPI matrix & implement for Inbound, Outbound, Claims operations as well as vendor management.
• Generate periodic reports (daily, weekly & monthly) required by management to assess performance ( internal reports & external reports )
• Coordinate with MQ operations for operational improvements through data analysis / performance analysis
• Maintain proper system ( TMS / YMS / Damage Tracker ) development/ data / pricing/ reporting support
• Data Mining & Analysis
• Process Improvement
• Support developing SOP for the stability of position and duties (R&R) and update for continuous improvements
• Support developing and overseeing process improvement initiatives (i.e. Demurrage/Storage cost) in order to improve the efficiency of delivery and customer service, as well as reduction of costs
• TMS/WMS/YMS system augmentation through IT coordination
• Support periodic review/audit with MQ operations.
• UAT and Power BI Implementation
• Conduct user application testing in new TMWM system to find any inadequacies that need to be fixed before final launch
• Learn/Map outbound processes in order to more efficiently build system around their needs
• Learn/Map admin processes in order to more efficiently build system around their needs
• Conduct meetings with IT to support creation and upkeep for reports on Power BI
• Multi Department Liason/Support
• Support Manager through various operational planning tasks such as monitoring repositioning of inbound/outbound shipments,
• Provide additional / operational support as needed when other managers are unavailable ( be utility player for MQ operation)
• Work closely with Admin for maintaining proper cost structure & provide support to operations when requested
• Update weekly trailer detention report for inbound loads
• MQ Operations Cost Management
• All other duties as assigned
• Support & coordinate RFP bidding process with carriers & manage appropriate AP rates
• Other Duties to support planning operation as needed
