Job Description
Primary Responsibilities - Coordinate third-party logistics operations, including intermodal, over-the-road (OTR), and cross-border freight.
- Manage outbound LTL, FTL, and intermodal shipments from planning through delivery.
- Coordinate dedicated truck operations and load planning.
- Monitor carrier performance and KPIs while maintaining strong carrier relationships.
- Utilize Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Yard Management Systems (YMS) to manage shipment data.
- Track and trace shipments, ensure timely POD collection, and support invoicing.
- Develop and implement SOPs to improve transportation efficiency and maximize carrier utilization.
- Provide exceptional service to both internal and external customers.
