A high-energy, beachside restaurant/bar in Rehoboth Beach is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our team. We’re known for our laid-back surf vibe, live music, signature crushes, food truck partnerships, and events that keep the community coming back rain or shine.
What You’ll Own
- Oversee daily operations of a fast-paced bar/restaurant open late, 7 days a week
- Lead, hire, train, and motivate a diverse front-of-house team with a focus on culture, hospitality, and fun
- Drive sales, manage labor + COGS, and execute weekly/monthly promotions and events
- Partner with food trucks and outside vendors to deliver a seamless guest experience
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment that reflects our quirky, comfortable brand
- Build relationships with regulars, tourists, and the local community to keep energy high year-round
What You Bring
- 3+ years as a GM, AGM, or multi-unit manager in a high-volume bar, restaurant, or nightlife venue
- Proven ability to build team culture and reduce turnover through leadership, not just rules
- Strong financial acumen: P&L management, inventory, scheduling, and budgeting
- Nights, weekends, and holiday availability during peak beach season
- DE ABLE license or ability to obtain; TIPS/ServSafe preferred
- You thrive in an unpretentious, guest-first, and community-driven environment
Compensation & Perks
- $75,000 annual salary
