We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician with General Motors experience to join a busy dealership service department. The successful candidate will diagnose, repair, and maintain GM vehicles while delivering high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and maintain GM vehicles (Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, Cadillac) according to manufacturer standards
Perform inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems
Repair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and HVAC systems
Use GM diagnostic tools and service software (GDS2 / Techline Connect) to identify and resolve vehicle issues
Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Work collaboratively with service advisors and other technicians
Qualifications
Experience working on GM or domestic brand vehicles
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Experience with engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and drivability diagnostics
Journeyman / Red Seal license or equivalent experience preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality repairs
Own tools required

Previous GM dealership experience
Experience using GM GDS2 / Techline Connect diagnostic systems
Experience servicing gasoline and diesel GM vehicles
Language
Fluent in English
