GMP Laboratory Technologist

Laboratory TechnologistRequired Education:• High school with technical certification in the area of laboratory operations plus 3 years laboratory experienceor• AS degree in a scientific discipline with 2-3 years laboratory experienceor • BS degree in a scientific discipline plus 1-2 years laboratory experience.Required Skills and Experience:• 1-3 years of production laboratory operationsLaboratory Technologist Responsibilities:Responsible for manufacturing and assembling clinical and commercial products. Operates production equipment.Weighs, measures and checks raw materials to ensure batches manufactured contain proper ingredients and quantities.Assists with in-process testing to ensure batches meet specifications.Responsible for validating processes and equipment that are directly related to filtration, cleaning and sterilization. Responsible for the removal and disposal of waste chemicals, solvents and acids.Creates solutions, powders, and liquids for batches to meet specificationsProvides training support for on-boarding and/or new proceduresProvides support to the lead/supervisor when necessaryProvides continuous improvement recommendations and/or solutions to support overall operational efficiencyDemonstrates the ability to follow established procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)Must follow all housekeeping policies and proceduresMust follow all safety policies and proceduresMust be able to work overtime as required to meet BD business requirements**Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.****Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client's business needs and requirements.**
