My name is Avery, and I am a Recruiter with The Fountain Group. We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Utilities Mechanic for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Branchburg, NJ details of the position are as follows: 
 
Job Description: 
  • Pay: $30-33.41 an hr  
  • 12 Month Assignment Possibility of Extension or Conversion based on performance and budget
  • Mon-Fri
  • The position will mainly be responsible for working in a highly regulated cGMP manufacturing facility, the role of the process controls GMP utilities mechanic is to perform the maintenance, monitoring and operations of manufacturing and clean utilities systems
  • Daily responsibilities will include taking of system readings, performance of preventative maintenance plans and provide system troubleshooting to resolve any problems with production and cGMP clean utility systems
  • Performs and documents both planned and unplanned maintenance/repair in support of cGMP clean utility systems and manufacturing equipment as directed by supervisor
  • Perform work on the following: clean steam generation systems, clean in-place systems, autoclaves, vacuum systems, manufacturing process vessels w/ancillary pumps and valves
 
 
Qualifications: 
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience within a cGMP manufacturing facility
  • Experience with mechanical systems (e.g., valves, pumps, motors, seals bearings etc.)
  • Troubleshooting experience
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
  • Experience with PLCs preferred
  • Experience with schematics (e.g., P&IDs, mechanical, electrical, controls, etc.) preferred
