We encourage all motivated and excellent candidates to apply regardless of the specific set of requirements you meet.ResponsibilitiesOwn the design, development, analysis, manufacturing, and testing of novel spacecraft componentsBuild complete tools and testing setups, with an emphasis on fully completing and shipping your workPrototype and iterate rapidlyMinimum QualificationsYou are able to work full-time onsiteYou are enrolled in a Bachelors or Master's degree program from an accredited college or university in aerospace engineering, software engineering, electrical engineering or related engineering fieldYoure capable of incredibly scrappy solutions, but also have experience building & shipping complex and high quality solutions when the problem requires itYoure both capable of working highly independently, but you know when to seek experiencePreferred QualificationsUnderstanding of fundamentals in the fields of orbital mechanics, spacecraft attitude dynamics, control systems and state estimation/sequential filteringProficiency in mathematical modeling and simulation software, including numerical methodsProficiency in C/C++ code developmentProficiency in Python code developmentUnderstanding of the fundamentals of Object Oriented ProgrammingFamiliarity with ADCS components such as star trackers, IMUs, reaction wheels, CMGs, RCS, etcApplication of technical skills outside of the classroom (examples include: extracurricular projects, volunteering, personal projects, laboratory research, or prior internship/work experience)Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a professional team environmentEagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic startup environmentEven if you don't meet 100% of the above qualifications, we are likely still interested in hearing from you.
