At Lockheed Martin, we apply our passion for purposeful innovation to keep people safe and solve the world's most complex challenges.What You Will Be Doing Design and documentation of model and simulation requirements and architectureDevelop, verify, and validate both complex models and simulations such as missile 6-degree-of-freedom simulations (6-DOF) and effects-based simulationsEvaluate system performance in complex scenarios and environments and verify system and subsystem level requirementsPerform critical studies, analyses, and test activitiesSupport ground and flight test efforts including Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL) activitiesSupport program reviews and technical interchange meetings with internal leadership and/or external customersThe candidate must have experience in weapon system and/or sensor modeling, both for the items to be modeled, and for the synthetic modeled environments used to stimulate the simulated hardware.The M&S Engineer must be able to work with subsystem and software engineers to integrate MATLAB models, C++ models, and actual tactical software into the simulations.The M&S Engineer must be proficient in C++ and MATLAB.
